Kamal Basra and Tracy Theemes
On November 15 of last year, I wrote about Tracy Theemes. I was thrilled to learn earlier this month that she has gone into business with a graduate of the Women’s Campaign School, Kamal Basra.
I went to their office yesterday. It’s a gorgeous space. It’s professional with a strong feminine presence. I asked them to pose for a picture.
This is good news for women who have not always been served well by financial institutions.
To quote from “The She Spot” by Lisa Witter and Lisa Chen:
Women’s hunger for, and openness to information is what makes them, in many ways, tougher customers than men. They demand more information before making decisions, whether it’s buying a stereo or donating to a nonprofit. For this reason, many corporations have figured out that when they meet women’s higher expectations, they also increase customer satisfaction among men.
