Daniel and I recently celebrated 10 years together.  Our neighbour made cupcakes as a gift for us and delivered them to us this afternoon.

It took a while but it appears that summer is here.  We bought a flat of strawberries to freeze so we can enjoy BC strawberries all year.  Daniel and his dad dug up a bit of our backyard for my first vegetable garden — I call it “mon jardin experimental.”  Yesterday, the first bean sprouted.  Today, there are 12 — it’s quite exciting.
